The Bagel Man: Your Go-To Spot for Delicious Breakfast & Brunch in Phoenix

The best bagel I have ever had. We heard about this place from a friend and went to check it this morning, we got there 30 minutes before closing, we ordered 2 veggie cream cheese on everything bagel and sesame bagel and turkey, egg and cheese on garlic bagel. Needless to say everything was perfect. I was blown out but the fresh and delicious bagels, I would eat them plain. The cream cheese is freshly made in the house, it’s very rich and well flavored and they have a great variety options, the veggies were well balanced and was full of flavor. As for the turkey, I’ve been craving it for a while and this one was simply amazing, I ordered jalapeños on the side with the sandwich and again didn’t disappoint. The place is very cozy, they had fresh tea and coffee among other drinks. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, we had a nice chat with them, they welcomed us and the kids. Will for sure be back again. If you haven’t try them, what are you waiting for

Best bagel place here in AZ! So delicious and fresh every bite is absolutely yummy. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. You can really feel the care and love put into the food. Highly recommended!

I've been wanting to go to the Bagel Man for months, since my friends told me about it. Well, thanks to a terrible bout of Insomnia, I was finally able to go, and it was so good! Everyone inside was super kind and helpful, the bagels were plentiful, with a variety of cream cheese options, and I got my food and got to head back home quickly because of how well their place is run. Kudos Bagel Man, if I'm ever up early as heck again, I'll stop by for more.

Five stars all the way for The Bagel Man! The bagels were absolutely amazing—perfect texture and flavor. But the real surprise was the tea with sage; it was so delightful and unique. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their menu. Highly recommend!

9/6/25: Finally popped in to The Bagel Man this particular Saturday, what a fun time! From the second we walked in the door, the vibe made us feel like we were greeting long-lost-family. The gentleman behind the counter was boisterous, cracking jokes left & right, gobbling like a turkey (trying to persuade me to order that particular bagel breakfast sandwich - it worked). Ha! It is a tight spot, no sitting inside, and only a few chairs/tables outside. They have a lot of classic items in front of their counters (stereos, phone, etc); that was fun to peruse through while we waited. The sandwiches came out quickly & luckily a table was available outside. While we were woofing down the delightful food, a guy came out & started speaking with us. Turns out, he was the cook. Great guy & it was so enlightening to talk to him about the bagels, the store in general, how they're made (by hand!!), all that jazz. After speaking with him, we definitely came away with a higher appreciation of all the work that family does to make such wonderful food. If you haven't tried The Bagel Man, you are missing out. To hell with that other famous bagel place :-), The Bagel Man is the place to go!

As a New Yorker, I vouch and overly recommend this amazing family owned bagel spot perfectly made, soft inside, toasted, and crunchy outside with the perfect amount of smear!! I do onion bagel with scallion cream cheese — everything home made, and not the sissy chopped scallions … they chop them correctly I’m sad I don’t live here to have this everyday. Thank you

The Bagel Man in Phoenix definitely lives up to its "Best of 2025" title! Beyond the award-winning bagels, the shop offers a charming, nostalgic atmosphere filled with vintage radios and retro cameras. The real star, however, is the cream cheese selection—don't leave without trying the savory Jalapeño or sweet Walnut Raisin Honey spreads. A delicious, eclectic local gem!

What a wonderful place!! The owners were absolutely amazing. Such nice people and the bagels are amazing. My family is from New Jersey so I know good bagels and these are just like back east. Highly recommend you stop by. They were running low by 9:30am though but still worth it.
